“Yeah well, nothing you or anyone else can do about it.” Rei sighed as they strolled along the sidewalk. People would glance, it’s like they never saw someone in a wheelchair before, and the ones who were, well that just meant there was something wrong with them. Which was her case, but why take it to that extreme?
Maybe because some people recognized her from before and were wondering what had happen, maybe that’s why they’d take a second glance, in fact there were girls who attended her school who they passed.
“Oh, that’s right you also fight with Chibiusa over the most ridiculous things. Like the lemon pie incident.”
“Not yet but we will figure something out. So you are okay with getting something to eat then?” She asked, wanting to be sure that it was truly what Rei wanted as she rolled her eyes at people before her face instantly dropped and she gave Rei a dirty look to the top of her head.
“Hey, she had totally deserved that one. Why eat the last slice when she knew that was mine? She was acting horribly that day. I was lucky momma made more.”
“Yeah, I’m fine with getting something to eat I guess.” The raven didn’t really care one way or another, whatever they did together would be fine. Cause like she said before, she wanted to get out of that house. Out of her bed, get some fresh air for a change.
Rei chuckled though, rolling her eyes up to try and look back at Usagi, “That’s just the thing though, she made more, she always does doesn’t she? If you ask me it was quite silly to be so upset over something like that.”
She nodded her head, pushing Rei toward the Crown, knowing they would be close to any places that they wanted to go for food. She was happy to just be of help to Rei, eyes looking around, as she came to a stop at the streetlight.
She giggled and nodded her head a bit, “Only if I ask her, I don’t like to do that too much. She does so much for me and shouldn’t have to push herself too much.”
“And only if your being your typical crybaby self, which is about 24/7 if you ask me.” She teased as they came to a stop, starring at the light waiting for a change. That was all she really could do, she couldn’t even move her neck.
“…I hate feeling so helpless…” Rei mumbled under her breath.

Oh, goodness. How the holy cow did Rei manage to do such a thing? Of course. Spiritual people got compelled by magical spells. Minako had always said that Rei’s power would…
“Weeell, I could touch you whereever I’d want to and the only thing you could do is blush, haha. But since you don’t feel anything from your neck down, this would be pretty boring.” Supporting her chin on her hands, she added confidently:”I’m sure it won’t last long. I don’t need to be Ami to know that a paralysis don’t just walks by saying hi.”
Her mouth dropped and eyes twitched, “Do you have any idea how creepy that is. I mean, I knew you were messed up, but I didn’t think you were this messed up.” Nevertheless Rei’s cheeks were showing some color to what she said. A heavy sigh erupted from her, “Jesus, Minako I don’t know what to do with you.”
“Creepy? Messed up? Just because it turns you on. Get over it.” But she giggled and smiled at her friend afterwards. Recognizing the blush, Minako’s own cheeks went a little pinker but she continued looking at Rei outrightly. It’s not like she got something to hide, she was the direct one of those two. “Yeah! Because you can’t do anything! Above all not with me.. not in this condition. But I’ll stay and sweeten you the time. How about I…cook you something?”
“IT DOES NOT TURN ME ON!!!” Rei protested, annoyed and angry looking pout on her face. The pink on her face was a bit brighter, but only slightly. The color quickly faded and her expression changed from a sort of cute angry pout, to disgusted. “No way, not after last time.”

“I know that.” She murmured.
Setsuna’s small time in the Space and Time Door was a way of catching up with what had happened to her friends, including Rei. “I am sorry about your grandfather.” She added.
A Fury… Setsuna had one of those before her Dirae. She knew they were bad.
“Do you think that… maybe the emotional scars from the Furies and Dirae have been weakening our powers?” Specially those foreseeing related.
“Mmm-hmm.” Rei gave a nod, “I know that after having a Fury it’s affected me, I can’t imagine what the emotional scars are like after having a Dirae though…..they must be a lot worse.” I’m just in a slump, I don’t necessarily think my powers have weakened, or maybe they have, I just thought I lost motivation.
“That mixed with personal things going on in our lives, that can be a tough mix, adding personal problems to emotional.”
Setsuna did not respond to Rei’s musings. Naturally both had their damage. She would never underestimate the power of a Fury - not after what she saw…
A flash of memory and she could see right in front of her eyes his body laying, bleeding. A flash of reality and she was back at Rei’s temple.
“I can only seem to see the past. Not the future. Never the future.” Reliving the past was her routine these days.
“I need to be able to look into the future soon Rei-chan. We are in great danger.” Greater than she had anticipated. And it was their own fault.
She waited for Setsuna, it seemed she was in her past memories as well, and wanted to give her time to think before speaking. “Hm? You can only see into the past now? When did this happen, not being able to see the future? After your Diare? Or was it even before then, when you had a Fury?”
Rei was surprised and quite concerned now, specially with the change in tone, it sounded a lot more serious, and she spoke in the same tone “What is this great danger?”
